This popped up as a set of photos from 5 years ago today. Wow! This was Chippy’s first flight after a 5-year rebuild, and now it’s been 5 more.
And 5 great years they’ve been, both aviation experiences and for our family. Martha became the pastor or Rockville United Methodist Church, where she continues as an able and loving servant leader. My kids have terrific families and careers, and our granddaughters have grown from infants to delightful (challenging 😁) little girls. I’ve been a full time flight instructor at Navy Annapolis Flight Center and found a wonderful new vocation after serving the Navy all my previous adult life. And Chippy and I continue to have the time of our lives, with me continually learning and meeting so many great people!
It’s good to get reminders like this so we can recall our blessings.
